Our Mission:

Malik’s Closet is committed to providing necessities such as clothing, shoes, diapers, hygiene items, linens, books, school supplies, and toys to children in temporary or long-term foster and kinship homes. We accept both new and gently used items to pass on to families in need, ensuring these essentials are repurposed to bring comfort and stability to families and the children they care for during uncertain times.

In addition to meeting immediate material needs, Malik’s Closet strives to build a supportive and educated community. We focus on connecting foster and kinship families with valuable resources and equipping them with the knowledge needed to navigate the unique challenges they face. By building a network of informed caregivers, caseworkers, and advocates, we aim to empower families and create a stronger, more resilient support system for children in care in our local community.
